This policy sets out the cancellation and return rights for purchases from UDT Studio, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 and the regulations made under it. In the event of a conflict between this policy and the provisions of the law, the provisions of the law shall prevail.
Right to cancel a transaction (14 days)
For distance (online) purchases, the consumer may cancel the transaction within 14 days from the day of receiving the product, or from the day of receiving the transaction details document (whichever is later). Cancellation shall be made by notice to UDT Studio through any of the contact methods listed below.
Extension of the cancellation period
Persons with disabilities, senior citizens (aged 65 and over) and new immigrants (up to 5 years in Israel) are entitled to an extended cancellation right of up to 4 months, provided that the transaction included a conversation between the business and the consumer (including electronic communication). Where there was no such conversation, the regular 14-day cancellation period applies.
Cancellation fees
In the case of a cancellation that is not due to a defect or non-conformity, UDT Studio may charge a cancellation fee of up to 5% of the transaction price or ₪100, whichever is lower. The cost of returning the product is borne by the consumer, unless the product arrived defective or does not match the order.
Refund
Following a valid cancellation, the consumer’s payment will be refunded within 14 days of the date of receiving the cancellation notice, through the payment processor Cardcom to the credit card on which the transaction was made, less cancellation fees (where applicable). A credit receipt will be issued for the refund. Upon completion of an order, a receipt is issued automatically and sent to your email address.
Conditions for returning a product
- The product shall be returned as new and unused, with its original tag, and in its original packaging where possible.
- A proof of purchase (receipt or order number) must be enclosed.
Exceptions to the right of cancellation
The right of cancellation does not apply to goods that were manufactured or adapted specifically for the consumer as a result of the transaction, nor to other cases set out by law (for example, products that can be recorded or copied after their original packaging has been opened). Health and hygiene regulations may apply to certain items.
